You'd never have someone reporting such a find here in America, this stuff would be on e-bay, or being melted down, in a heartbeat. Good for the chap who found it, and respected his culture and the law!

did you see the Incredible Human Journey on BBC2 on Sundays for the past six weeks...it was a series of five progs with a week off prior to the last one? It was very good...I liked the presenter in the end after being a bit put off by her at the start, but she did a good job of presenting our amazing journey out of Africa to people the world and co more…

Oh, that is just too cool for words! We don't have many Roman artifacts in the USA--I had to visit the Met Museum in Manhattan to see some...I didn't see any abundance of Roman artifacts until I went to the Netherlands.
